Births to Unmarried Mothers

Exceeding 50% in many parts of Cleveland, birth to unmarried mothers contributes to future difficulties at home. Problems finding child care, "latch-key" kids who are unsupervised while caregivers are working, strained economic resources and increased stress are detrimental to both parents and children.
