I am former nurse who needed health data to answer questions in various settings, and always wished for a central directory of locally useful resources. I started the Community Vital Signs project as a medical student, which led to the ClevelandHealth.info website, hosted since 2003 by CWRU Med School Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Now as an Internal Medicine resident at MetroHealth Medical Center, I am interested in eliminating health disparities, and adapting LocalHealth.info's Open Source technology for resource sharing among educational groups and communities.
